حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ وَبَهْزٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ قَالَ أَبُو كَامِلٍ أَخْبَرَنَا سِمَاكٌ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ بِالْحَرَّةِ مَعَهُ أَهْلُهُ وَوَلَدُهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ إِنِّي أَضْلَلْتُ نَاقَةً لِي فَإِنْ وَجَدْتَهَا فَأَمْسِكْهَا فَوَجَدَهَا فَمَرِضَتْ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ امْرَأَتُهُ انْحَرْهَا فَأَبَى فَنَفَقَتْ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ امْرَأَتُهُ قَدِّدْهَا حَتَّى نَأْكُلَ مِنْ لَحْمِهَا وَشَحْمِهَا قَالَ حَتَّى أَسْتَأْمِرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَاهُ فَأَخْبَرَهُ فَقَالَ لَهُ هَلْ لَكَ غِنًى يُغْنِيكَ قَالَ لَا قَالَ فَكُلُوهَا قَالَ فَجَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ أَلَا كُنْتَ نَحَرْتَهَا قَالَ اسْتَحَيْتُ مِنْكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Kamil and Bahz narrated to us, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us from Simak - Abu Kamil said: Simak informed us - from Jabir ibn Samurah, that a man was at al-Harrah with his family and his child, and a man said to him, "I have lost a she-camel of mine; if you find her, keep her." He found her, but she became ill, so his wife said to him, "Slaughter her," but he refused, and she died. His wife then said to him, "Dry-cure her so we may eat of her meat and fat." He said, "Not until I consult the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him." He went to him and informed him, and he said to him, "Do you have enough to make you independent of her?" He said, "No." He said: "Then eat her." He said: Her owner came afterward and said, "Why did you not slaughter her?" He said, "I was too shy before you."
