Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us: Sufyan informed us from Simak ibn Harb, who said: I heard Jabir ibn Samurah say: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to sit between the two sermons on Friday, deliver the sermon standing, and his prayer was moderate and his sermon was moderate, and he would recite verses from the Qur'an on the pulpit.
