حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ قَالَ نُبِّئْتُ أَنَّ أُمَّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ تُوُفِّيَ إِحْدَى بَنَاتِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَغْسِلَهَا ثَلَاثًا أَوْ خَمْسًا أَوْ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ إِنْ رَأَيْتُنَّ وَأَنْ نَجْعَلَ فِي الْغَسْلَةِ الْآخِرَةِ شَيْئًا مِنْ سِدْرٍ وَكَافُورٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Umm 'Atiyyah said: One of the daughters of the Prophet (peace be upon him) died, and he commanded us to wash her three or five times, or more than that if we thought it necessary, and to put some sidr and camphor in the last washing.
