حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَرْجِسَ قَالَ عَاصِمٌ وَقَدْ كَانَ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا خَرَجَ فِي سَفَرٍ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَعْثَاءِ السَّفَرِ وَكَآبَةِ الْمُنْقَلَبِ وَالْحَوْرِ بَعْدَ الْكَوْرِ وَدَعْوَةِ الْمَظْلُومِ وَسُوءِ الْمَنْظَرِ فِي الْمَالِ وَالْأَهْلِ وَإِذَا رَجَعَ قَالَ مِثْلَهَا إِلَّا أَنَّهُ يَقُولُ وَسُوءِ الْمَنْظَرِ فِي الْأَهْلِ وَالْمَالِ يَبْدَأُ بِالْأَهْلِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah ibn Sarjis narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), when he set out on a journey, would say: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, the sorrow of return, decline after progress, the supplication of the oppressed, and seeing something bad happen to wealth and family.' And when he returned, he would say the same, except he would say: 'And seeing something bad happen to family and wealth.'
