What the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) most often recited in the two rak'ahs before Fajr was: 'We believe in Allah, and what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Ibrahim and Isma'il' to the end of the verse, and in the other: 'We believe in Allah, and bear witness that we are Muslims.'
