Abu al-Malih narrated from his father that a man from his people freed a share of a slave he owned. This was brought before the Prophet (peace be upon him), who ruled that the freeing should be completed from his own wealth and said: 'There is no partner for Allah, Blessed and Most High.' Bahz said from Hammam: The hadith about the share in the slave is mursal (disconnected).
