حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي سَلِيطٍ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ فِي أَزْفَلَةٍ مِنْ النَّاسِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا يَخْذُلُهُ التَّقْوَى هَاهُنَا قَالَ حَمَّادٌ وَقَالَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ وَمَا تَوَادَّ اثْنَانِ فِي اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَهُمَا إِلَّا حَدَثٌ يُحْدِثُهُ أَحَدُهُمَا وَالْمُحْدِثُ شَرٌّ وَالْمُحْدِثُ شَرٌّ وَالْمُحْدِثُ شَرٌّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
A man from Banu Sulayt said: I came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) while he was in a crowd of people, and I heard him say: 'The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim; he does not wrong him, nor does he forsake him. Piety is here' - and Hammad said he pointed with his hand to his chest - 'and no two people love each other for the sake of Allah, Mighty and Sublime, and are then separated except by a sin committed by one of them, and the one who committed the sin is the worse of the two.'
