حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَهُ فَقَالَ اسْتُعْمِلَ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْغِفَارِيُّ عَلَى خُرَاسَانَ فَتَمَنَّاهُ عِمْرَانُ حَتَّى قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ أَلَا نَدْعُوهُ لَكَ فَقَالَ لَهُ لَا ثُمَّ قَامَ عِمْرَانُ فَلَقِيَهُ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَقَالَ عِمْرَانُ إِنَّكَ قَدْ وُلِّيتَ أَمْرًا مِنْ أَمْرِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ عَظِيمًا ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ وَنَهَاهُ وَوَعَظَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَلْ تَذْكُرُ يَوْمَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا طَاعَةَ لِمَخْلُوقٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى قَالَ الْحَكَمُ نَعَمْ قَالَ عِمْرَانُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Yazid -- meaning Ibn Harun -- told us, Hisham informed us, from Muhammad, who said: A man came to 'Imran ibn Husayn while we were with him, and said, "Al-Hakam ibn 'Amr al-Ghifari has been appointed governor over Khorasan." 'Imran wished for it so much that a man among the people said to him, "Shall we not summon him for you?" He said to him, "No." Then 'Imran got up and met him among the people, and 'Imran said, "You have been entrusted with a great matter among the affairs of the Muslims." Then he commanded him, forbade him, and admonished him, then said, "Do you remember the day the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'There is no obedience to a created being in disobedience to Allah, Blessed and Exalted'?" Al-Hakam said, "Yes." 'Imran said, "Allahu Akbar."
