Abdullah told us, my father told me, Yazid told us, Sulayman at-Taymi informed us, from Abu al-Ala' ibn ash-Shikhkhir, from Imran ibn Husayn - Sulayman said: and I am not certain whether it was Imran - that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him: "O Imran, have you fasted anything of the dark nights of this month?" He said: "No." He said: "Then when you break your fast, fast two days in its place." Ibn Abi Adi said: "sirar" (a variant pronunciation).
