حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ قِيلَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ فُلَانًا لَا يُفْطِرُ نَهَارًا قَالَ لَا أَفْطَرَ وَلَا صَامَ.

Ismail narrated to us, al-Jurayri informed us, from Abu al-Ala, from Mutarrif, from Imran ibn Husayn, who said: It was said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): 'So-and-so does not break his fast during the day.' He said: 'He has neither truly broken fast nor truly fasted.'
