حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ فِي حَدِيثِهِ سَمِعْتُ زُرَارَةَ بْنَ أَوْفَى عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ قَاتَلَ يَعْلَى ابْنُ مُنْيَةٍَ أَوْ ابْنُ أُمَيَّةَ رَجُلًا فَعَضَّ أَحَدُهُمَا يَدَ صَاحِبِهِ فَانْتَزَعَ يَدَهُ مِنْ فِيهَ فَانْتَزَعَ ثَنِيَّتَهُ وَقَالَ حَجَّاجٌ ثَنِيَّتَيْهِ فَاخْتَصَمَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَعَضُّ أَحَدُكُمَا أَخَاهُ كَمَا يَعَضُّ الْفَحْلُ لَا دِيَةَ لَهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn Jafar narrated to us, Shubah narrated to us; and Hajjaj said: Shubah narrated to me, saying: I heard Qatadah narrating from Zurarah ibn Awfa — Hajjaj said in his narration: I heard Zurarah ibn Awfa narrating from Imran ibn Husayn, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'The best of my nation is the generation I was sent in, then those who follow them, then those who follow them.' Imran said: 'I do not know whether he mentioned two or three generations after his generation.' Then the Prophet said: 'After you there will come people who testify without being asked to testify, who are treacherous and cannot be trusted, who make vows and do not fulfill them, and obesity will appear among them.'
