حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي الْبَكَّائِيَّ قَالَ ثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَن شَقِيقِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَن أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ مُنَكِّسٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا الْقِتَالُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى فَإِنَّ أَحَدَنَا يُقَاتِلُ حَمِيَّةً وَيُقَاتِلُ غَضَبًا فَلَهُ أَجْرٌ قَالَ فَرَفَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَيْهِ وَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ قَائِمًا أَوْ كَانَ قَاعِدًا الشَّكُّ مِنْ زُهَيْرٍ مَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ziyad ibn Abdullah - meaning al-Bakka'i - told us: Mansur told us, from Shaqiq ibn Salamah, from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, who said: A man asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, while he had his head lowered, and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is fighting in the way of Allah the Exalted? One of us fights out of zeal, and one fights out of anger - does he have a reward?" He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, raised his head toward him - and had he not been standing, or sitting, the doubt is from Zuhayr, he would not have raised his head toward him - and said, "Whoever fights so that the word of Allah is uppermost, he is in the way of Allah, Mighty and Majestic."
