حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَا أَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَن عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَن أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَن أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ سَمَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَفْسَهُ أَسْمَاءً مِنْهَا مَا حَفِظْنَا قَالَ أَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَحْمَدُ والْمُقَفِّي وَالْحَاشِرُ وَنَبِيُّ التَّوْبَةِ والْمَلْحَمَةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Nadr and Muhammad b. Ubayd told us, they said: al-Mas'udi informed us, from Amr b. Murra, from Abu Ubayda, from Abu Musa, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, named himself for us with names, some of which we remembered. He said: "I am Muhammad, and Ahmad, and al-Muqaffi, and al-Hashir, and the Prophet of Repentance and of War."
