Yahya b. Sa'id told us: Qurra told us: Sayyar Abu al-Hakam told us, from Abu Burda, from his father, who said: I said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "The people of Yemen have two drinks," or "certain drinks: this bit' made from honey, and mizr made from corn and barley - what do you command me regarding them?" He said, "I forbid you every intoxicant."
