Yahya ibn Abi Bukayr told us: Ibrahim ibn Nafi' told us, who said: I heard Amr ibn Dinar mention from Abu al-Minhal: that Zayd ibn Arqam and al-Bara' ibn Azib, may Allah be pleased with them, were partners, and they bought silver, partly for cash and partly on credit. That reached the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, so he commanded them: Whatever was for cash, complete it; and whatever was on credit, return it.
