حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ قَالَ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْيَهُودِ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ أَلَسْتَ تَزْعُمُ أَنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ يَأْكُلُونِ فِيهَا وَيَشْرَبُونَ وَقَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ إِنْ أَقَرَّ لِي بِهَذِهِ خَصَمْتُهُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَلَى وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ أَحَدَهُمْ لَيُعْطَى قُوَّةَ مِائَةِ رَجُلٍ فِي الْمَطْعَمِ وَالْمَشْرَبِ وَالشَّهْوَةِ وَالْجِمَاعِ قَالَ فَقَالَ لَهُ الْيَهُودِيُّ فَإِنَّ الَّذِي يَأْكُلُ وَيَشْرَبُ تَكُونُ لَهُ الْحَاجَةُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَاجَةُ أَحَدِهِمْ عَرَقٌ يَفِيضُ مِنْ جُلُودِهِمْ مِثْلُ رِيحِ الْمِسْكِ فَإِذَا الْبَطْنُ قَدْ ضَمُرَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Mu'awiyah told us: al-A'mash told us, from Thumamah ibn Uqbah, from Zayd ibn Arqam, who said: A man from the Jews came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Abu al-Qasim, do you not claim that the people of Paradise eat and drink therein? — and he had said to his companions: If he admits this to me, I will refute him. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Yes indeed, by the One in whose hand is my soul, each of them will be given the strength of a hundred men in eating, drinking, desire, and intercourse. He said: The Jew said to him: But the one who eats and drinks will have a need to relieve himself. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The need of one of them will be sweat flowing from their skins like the scent of musk, and then the stomach will have become slender.
