حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَابِسٍ عَنْ أَبِي فَزَارَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ فِيمَا أَعْلَمُ شَكَّ مُوسَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اعْتَكَفَ فِي قُبَّةٍ مِنْ خُوصٍ.

Abdullah narrated to us, Musa ibn Dawud narrated to us, Ali ibn Abis narrated to us, from Abu Fazara, from Abdur Rahman ibn Abi Layla, from his father - as far as I know, Musa was uncertain - that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, secluded himself for i'tikaf in a dome made of palm leaves.
