حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَكَتَبَ بِهِ إِلَيَّ قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا مُجَمِّعُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُجَمِّعٍ قَالَ قِيلَ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبَةَ مَا أَدْرَكْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدِمَ وَهُوَ غُلَامٌ حَدِيثٌ قَالَ جَاءَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا إِلَى مَسْجِدِنَا يَعْنِي مَسْجِدَ قُبَاءَ قَالَ فَجِئْنَا فَجَلَسْنَا إِلَيْهِ وَجَلَسَ إِلَيْهِ النَّاسُ قَالَ فَجَلَسَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Qutayba ibn Sa'id told us - and Qutayba wrote it to me - Mujammi' ibn Ya'qub told us, from Muhammad ibn Isma'il ibn Mujammi', who said: It was said to Abdullah ibn Abi Habiba, "What did you witness of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?" - for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had arrived while he was a young boy. He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, came to us one day at our mosque - meaning the mosque of Quba. He said: So we came and sat close to him, and the people sat with him. He said: He sat as long as Allah willed him to sit, then he stood up to pray, and I saw him praying in his sandals.
