حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جُنْدُبًا يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ الْعِيدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى ثُمَّ خَطَبَ فَقَالَ مَنْ كَانَ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فَلْيُعِدْ مَكَانَهَا أُخْرَى وَقَالَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى فَلْيَذْبَحْ وَمَنْ كَانَ لَمْ يَذْبَحْ فَلْيَذْبَحْ بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Affan told us: Shu'bah told us: al-Aswad ibn Qays informed me: I heard Jundub narrate that he witnessed the Eid with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He prayed, then delivered a sermon, and said: "Whoever slaughtered before the prayer, let him slaughter another in its place" - and another time he said "let him slaughter (again)" - "and whoever has not slaughtered, let him slaughter in the name of Allah."
