حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ السُّدِّيِّ حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ عَمْرَو بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فِي نَعْلَيْنِ مَخْصُوفَيْنِ.

'Abd al-Rahman told us: Sufyan told us, from al-Suddi: someone who heard 'Amr ibn Hurayth told me, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, praying in two patched sandals.
