قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَن أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَن الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَقْبَلَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ قَالَ آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ لِرَبِّنَا حَامِدُونَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَن شُعْبَةَ عَن أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ الْبَرَاءِ عَن أَبِيهِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.

He said: Abd al-Malik ibn Amr told us, he said: Sufyan told us, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Bara' ibn Azib, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he returned from a journey, would say: "We are returning, repentant, worshipping, praising our Lord." Abd al-Malik ibn Amr told us, from Shu'bah, from Abu Ishaq, from al-Rabi' ibn al-Bara', from his father al-Bara' ibn Azib, the like of that.
