حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ عَن مُطَرِّفٍ عَن أَبِي الْجَهْمِ عَن الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةَ أَبِيهِ أَنْ يَقْتُلَهُ.

'Uthman b. Muhammad told us - 'Abdullah said: and I myself heard it from 'Uthman - he said: Jarir b. 'Abd al-Hamid told us, from Mutarrif, from Abu al-Jahm, from al-Bara' b. 'Azib, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sent word concerning a man who had married his father's wife, that he be killed.
