حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْأَحْمَرُ عَن الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَن طَلْحَةَ عَن عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْسَجَةَ عَن الْبَرَاءِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقِيمُوا صُفُوفَكُمْ لَا يَتَخَلَّلُكُمْ كَأَوْلَادِ الْحَذَفِ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا أَوْلَادُ الْحَذَفِ قَالَ سُودٌ جُرْدٌ تَكُونُ بِأَرْضِ الْيَمَنِ.

'Abdullah b. Muhammad told us - Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: and I myself heard it from 'Abdullah b. Muhammad b. Abi Shaybah - he said: Abu Khalid al-Ahmar told us, from al-Hasan b. 'Amr, from Talhah, from 'Abd al-Rahman b. 'Awsajah, from al-Bara', who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Straighten your rows; do not let gaps appear among you like the young of the hadhaf. It was said: O Messenger of Allah, what are the young of the hadhaf? He said: Small black sheep found in the land of Yemen.
