حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَصُفُّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ وَعُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ وَكَثِيرًا مِنْ بَنِي الْعَبَّاسِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ مَنْ سَبَقَ إِلَيَّ فَلَهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ فَيَسْتَبِقُونَ إِلَيْهِ فَيَقَعُونَ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ وَصَدْرِهِ فَيُقَبِّلُهُمْ وَيَلْزَمُهُمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to line up 'Abdullah, 'Ubaydullah, and Kathir — the sons of al-'Abbas — and say: "Whoever reaches me first will get such and such." So they would race to him and fall upon his back and chest, and he would kiss them and embrace them.
