حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَبَّادٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ يَا أَبَا الْيَقْظَانِ أَرَأَيْتَ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ الَّذِي أَتَيْتُمُوهُ بِرَأْيِكُمْ أَوْ شَيْءٌ عَهِدَهُ إِلَيْكُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَا عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا لَمْ يَعْهَدْهُ إِلَى النَّاسِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdus-Samad narrated to us: Hammam narrated to us: Qatadah narrated to us, from Abu Nadrah, from Qays ibn Abbad, who said: I said to Ammar ibn Yasir: O Abu al-Yaqzan, do you think this matter which you people have undertaken is by your own opinion, or is it something the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entrusted to you? He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, did not entrust us with anything that he did not also entrust to the people at large.
