حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ قَالَ كُنْتُ جَالِسًا مَعَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَاطِبٍ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي قَدْ رَأَيْتُ أَرْضًا ذَاتَ نَخْلٍ فَاخْرُجُوا فَخَرَجَ حَاطِبٌ وَجَعْفَرٌ فِي الْبَحْرِ قِبَلَ النَّجَاشِيِّ قَالَ فَوُلِدْتُ أَنَا فِي تِلْكَ السَّفِينَةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Mu'awiyah ibn Amr narrated to us: Abu Ishaq narrated to us, from Abu Malik al-Ashja'i, who said: I was sitting with Muhammad ibn Hatib, and he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I have indeed seen a land with palm trees, so go forth. So Hatib and Ja'far went forth by sea toward the Negus. He said: I was born on that ship.
