حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ الْمَعْنَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ الطَّائِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا سَيُكَلِّمُهُ رَبُّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهُ تُرْجُمَانٌ فَيَنْظُرُ عَمَّنْ أَيْمَنَ مِنْهُ فَلَا يَرَى إِلَّا شَيْئًا قَدَّمَهُ وَيَنْظُرُ عَمَّنْ أَشْأَمَ مِنْهُ فَلَا يَرَى إِلَّا شَيْئًا قَدَّمَهُ وَيَنْظُرُ أَمَامَهُ فَتَسْتَقْبِلُهُ النَّارُ فَمَنْ اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ يَتَّقِيَ النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ فَلْيَفْعَلْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Waki' and Abu Mu'awiyah told us — the meaning being the same — they said: al-A'mash told us, from Khaythamah, from Adi ibn Hatim al-Ta'i, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is not one among you but his Lord, mighty and majestic, will speak to him, with no interpreter between them. He will look to his right and see nothing but what he sent forth, and look to his left and see nothing but what he sent forth, and look before him and the Fire will confront him. So whoever among you can protect himself from the Fire, even with half a date, let him do so."
