حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا طَعْمَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْجَعْفَرِيُّ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ بَيَانٍ التَّغْلِبِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ الثَّقَفِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ بَاعَ الْخَمْرَ فَلْيُشَقِّصْ الْخَنَازِيرَ يَعْنِي يُقَصِّبُهَا.

Waki' told us, Ta'mah ibn Amr al-Ja'fari told us, from Umar ibn Bayan al-Taghlibi, from Urwah ibn al-Mughirah al-Thaqafi, from his father, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever sells wine, let him render the pigs into pieces" — meaning let him cut them into strips.
