حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ الرَّاكِبُ يَسِيرُ خَلْفَ الْجِنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي يَمْشِي خَلْفَهَا وَأَمَامَهَا وَيَمِينَهَا وَشِمَالَهَا قَرِيبًا وَالسِّقْطُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ يُدْعَى لِوَالِدَيْهِ بِالْعَافِيَةِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ قَالَ يُونُسُ وَأَهْلُ زِيَادٍ يَذْكُرُونَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَمَّا أَنَا فَلَا أَحْفَظُهُ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Isma'il told us, Yunus informed us, from Ziyad ibn Jubayr, from his father, that al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah said: "The rider travels behind the funeral bier, and the one on foot walks behind it, in front of it, to its right, and to its left, close by, and the funeral prayer is performed for a stillborn child, with forgiveness and mercy invoked for its parents." Yunus said: The family of Ziyad attribute this to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, but I do not recall that myself.
