حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنِي وَرَّادٌ كَاتِبُ الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ كَتَبَ مُعَاوِيَةُ إِلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ اكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ كَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى فَفَرَغَ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ قَالَ وَأَظُنُّهُ قَالَ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ اللَّهُمَّ لَا مَانِعَ لِمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَلَا مُعْطِيَ لِمَا مَنَعْتَ وَلَا يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَدِّ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Rawh told us, Ibn Awn told us: Abu Sa'id informed me, saying: Warrad, the scribe of al-Mughirah, informed me, saying: Mu'awiyah wrote to al-Mughirah, "Write to me something you heard from the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him." He said: Whenever he finished his prayer he would say, "There is no god but God," and I think he said, "alone, without partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is powerful over all things. O God, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the wealth of the wealthy does not benefit them against You."
