حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ عَنْ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ قَضَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْهُذَلِيَّتَيْنِ أَنَّ الْعَقْلَ عَلَى الْعَصَبَةِ وَأَنَّ الْمِيرَاثَ لِلْوَرَثَةِ وَأَنَّ فِي الْجَنِينِ غُرَّةً.

Abu al-Nadr al-Harith ibn al-Nu'man told me from Shayban from Jabir from Amir from al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ruled in the case of the two Hudhali women that the blood money is upon the paternal relatives, that the inheritance goes to the heirs, and that for the fetus a slave is due as compensation.
