حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو وَائِلٍ صَنْعَانِيٌّ مُرَادِيٌّ قَالَ كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ إِذْ أُدْخِلَ عَلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ فَكَلَّمَهُ بِكَلَامٍ أَغْضَبَهُ قَالَ فَلَمَّا أَنْ غَضِبَ قَامَ ثُمَّ عَادَ إِلَيْنَا وَقَدْ تَوَضَّأَ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ جَدِّي عَطِيَّةَ وَقَدْ كَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْغَضَبَ مِنْ الشَّيْطَانِ وَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ خُلِقَ مِنْ النَّارِ وَإِنَّمَا تُطْفَأُ النَّارُ بِالْمَاءِ فَإِذَا غَضِبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibrahim ibn Khalid told us, he said: Abu Wa'il, a San'ani of the Murad tribe, told us, he said: We were sitting with Urwah ibn Muhammad when a man was brought in to him and spoke words that angered him. When he became angry, he stood up, then came back to us having performed ablution, and said: My father told me, from my grandfather Atiyyah — who had been a Companion — who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Anger is from the devil, and the devil was created from fire, and fire is only extinguished with water. So when one of you becomes angry, let him perform ablution."
