حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ قَالَ قَالَ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تَمِيمَةَ عَنْ دُلَجَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ أَنَّ الْحَكَمَ الْغِفَارِيَّ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ مَرَّةً أَتَذْكُرُ إِذْ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالْمُقَيَّرِ وَالنَّقِيرِ قَالَ وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ الْمُقَيَّرَ أَوْ ذَكَرَ النَّقِيرَ أَوْ ذَكَرَهُمَا جَمِيعًا.

Mu'tamir narrated to us, saying: My father said: Abu Tamimah narrated to us, from Duljah ibn Qays, that al-Hakam al-Ghifari said to a man once: 'Do you remember when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade the gourd, the green jar, the pitch-lined vessel, and the hollowed trunk?' He said: 'And I bear witness' — and he did not mention the pitch-lined vessel, or he mentioned the hollowed trunk, or he mentioned them both.
