Sulayman ibn Harb and Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, both saying: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Abu Ja'far al-Khatmi, from Umarah ibn Khuzaymah ibn Thabit, who said: We were with Amr ibn al-'As on a pilgrimage or an 'umrah, until when we were at Marr al-Zahran, there was a woman in her howdah who had placed her hand on her howdah. He said: so he turned aside and entered the mountain pass, and we entered with him, and he said: 'We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in this very place, when we came upon many crows, among them a crow with a white patch and a red beak and legs, and the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: None of the women will enter Paradise except the like of this crow among these crows.' Hasan said: 'There was a woman with her bracelets and rings on her hands, having placed her hands...' — and Hasan did not say 'at Marr al-Zahran.'
