حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ الْأَلْهَانِيِّ قَالَ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَ أَبِي عِنَبَةَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ الشُّهَدَاءُ فَذَكَرُوا الْمَبْطُونَ وَالْمَطْعُونَ وَالنُّفَسَاءَ فَغَضِبَ أَبُو عِنَبَةَ وَقَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَصْحَابُ نَبِيِّنَا عَنْ نَبِيِّنَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ شُهَدَاءَ اللَّهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ أُمَنَاءُ اللَّهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ فِي خَلْقِهِ قُتِلُوا أَوْ مَاتُوا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu al-Yaman told us, he said: Isma'il ibn Ayyash told us, from Muhammad ibn Ziyad al-Alhani, he said: The martyrs were mentioned in the presence of Abu Inabah al-Khawlani, and they mentioned the one who dies of an abdominal ailment, the one who dies of the plague, and the woman who dies in childbirth. Abu Inabah became angry and said, "The companions of our Prophet told us, from our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said, 'The martyrs of Allah on earth are the trustees of Allah on earth among His creation, whether they were killed or died [naturally].'"
