حَدَّثَنِي وَهْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النُّعْمَانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيِّ قَالَ جَلَسَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَفِي يَدِهِ خَاتَمٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَقَرَعَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَدَهُ بِقَضِيبٍ كَانَ فِي يَدِهِ ثُمَّ غَفَلَ عَنْهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَمَى الرَّجُلُ بِخَاتَمِهِ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَيْنَ خَاتَمُكَ قَالَ أَلْقَيْتُهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَظُنُّنَا قَدْ أَوْجَعْنَاكَ وَأَغْرَمْنَاكَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Wahb told me, he said my father told us, he said I heard al-Nu'man relating from al-Zuhri, from Ata' ibn Yazid, from Abu Tha'labah al-Khushani who said: A man sat with the Prophet of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, with a gold ring on his hand, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, struck his hand with a stick that was in his hand, then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, became inattentive to him, so the man threw away his ring. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, looked at him and said: Where is your ring? He said: I threw it away. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I think we have hurt you and cost you something.
