حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الدِّمَشْقِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُسْلِمَ بْنَ مِشْكَمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْخُشَنِيَّ يَقُولُ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَخْبِرْنِي بِمَا يَحِلُّ لِي وَيُحَرَّمُ عَلَيَّ قَالَ فَصَعَّدَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَوَّبَ فِيَّ النَّظَرَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبِرُّ مَا سَكَنَتْ إِلَيْهِ النَّفْسُ وَاطْمَأَنَّ إِلَيْهِ الْقَلْبُ وَالْإِثْمُ مَا لَمْ تَسْكُنْ إِلَيْهِ النَّفْسُ وَلَمْ يَطْمَئِنَّ إِلَيْهِ الْقَلْبُ وَإِنْ أَفْتَاكَ الْمُفْتُونَ وَقَالَ لَا تَقْرَبْ لَحْمَ الْحِمَارِ الْأَهْلِيِّ وَلَا ذَا نَابٍ مِنْ السِّبَاعِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Zayd ibn Yahya al-Dimashqi told us, he said Abdullah ibn al-'Ala' told us, he said I heard Muslim ibn Mishkam say, I heard al-Khushani say: I said: O Messenger of Allah, tell me what is lawful for me and what is forbidden to me. He said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, raised his gaze at me then lowered it, then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Righteousness is that which the soul finds rest in and the heart finds tranquil, and sin is that which the soul does not find rest in and the heart is not tranquil about, even if people repeatedly give you a ruling permitting it. And he said: Do not go near the meat of the domestic donkey nor any fanged beast of prey.
