Ali ibn Bahr narrated to us, he said: Hisham ibn Yusuf narrated to us, he said: Ma'mar narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Amir ibn Zayd al-Bukali, that he heard Utbah ibn Abd al-Sulami say: A bedouin came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and asked him about the Pool, and he mentioned Paradise. Then the bedouin said: 'Is there fruit in it?' He said: 'Yes, and in it is a tree called Tuba' - and he mentioned something I do not know what it was. He said: 'Which tree of our land does it resemble?' He said: 'It does not resemble anything of the trees of your land.' The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Have you been to Syria?' He said: 'No.' He said: 'It resembles a tree in Syria called al-Jawzah, which grows on a single trunk and its top spreads out.' He said: 'How great is its trunk?' He said: 'If a young she-camel of your family's camels were to travel around it, it would not encircle its trunk before its collarbone broke from old age.' He said: 'Does it have grapes?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'How large is the bunch?' He said: 'A month's journey for the piebald crow, without tiring.' He said: 'How large is the grape?' He said: 'Has your father ever slaughtered a large billy-goat from his flock?' He said: 'Yes.' He said: 'Then he skinned its hide and gave it to your mother and said: Make us a bucket from it?' He said: 'Yes.' The bedouin said: 'Then that single grape would satisfy me and my household!' He said: 'Yes, and most of your clan besides.'
