حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْمَعَافِرِيُّ عَمَّنْ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَاعِيًا فَاسْتَأْذَنْتُهُ أَنْ آكُلَ مِنْ الصَّدَقَةِ فَأَذِنَ لِي.

Hasan told us, Ibn Lahi'ah told us, Yazid ibn Amr al-Ma'afiri told us, from someone who heard Uqbah ibn Amir say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent me as a zakat collector, and I asked his permission to eat from the charity, and he permitted me.
