حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ أَرْطَاةَ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَشْيَاخِ الْجُنْدِ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْهَى عَنْ لَطْمِ خُدُودِ الدَّوَابِّ وَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَدْ جَعَلَ لَكُمْ عِصِيًّا وَسِيَاطًا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Surayj b. al-Nu'man narrated to us: Baqiyya b. al-Walid narrated to us, from Artah b. al-Mundhir, from one of the elders of the army, from al-Miqdam b. Ma'dikarib, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbidding the striking of animals' faces, and he said: "Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has provided you with sticks and whips."
