حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ثَوْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَزِيدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي حَبِيبُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيُعْلِمْهُ أَنَّهُ يُحْبِبْهُ.

Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, he said: Thawr, that is Ibn Yazid, told us, he said: Habib ibn Ubayd told me, from al-Miqdam ibn Ma'dikarib Abu Karimah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: When one of you loves his brother, let him inform him that he loves him.
