حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ قَالَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الصَّفِّ الْمُقَدَّمِ ثَلَاثًا وَعَلَى الَّذِي يَلِيهِ وَاحِدَةً.

Al-Hakam ibn Nafi' told us, he said: Isma'il ibn Ayyash told us, from Bahir ibn Sa'd, from Khalid ibn Ma'dan, from Jubayr ibn Nufayr, from al-Irbad ibn Sariyah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed (asked forgiveness) for the front row three times, and for the one following it once.
