حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ بَهْرَامَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَهْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَوْشَبٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ غَنْمٍ أَنَّ شَدَّادَ بْنَ أَوْسٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ حَدِيثِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيَحْمِلَنَّ شِرَارُ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ عَلَى سَنَنِ الَّذِينَ خَلَوْا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ حَذْوَ الْقُذَّةِ بِالْقُذَّةِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hashim narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Hamid, meaning Ibn Bahram, narrated to us, he said: Shahr, meaning Ibn Hawshab, narrated to us: Ibn Ghanm narrated to me, that Shaddad ibn Aws narrated to him from the hadith of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: The worst of this nation will certainly follow the path of those who passed before them, the People of the Book, matching them step for step, like one arrow-feather matching another.
