قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا إِسْحَاقَ يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ صُرَدٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ ذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ الْغُسْلُ مِنْ الْجَنَابَةِ فَقَالَ أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُفْرِغُ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلَاثًا.

He said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far told us, he said: Shu'bah told us, he said: I heard Abu Ishaq narrate that he heard Sulayman ibn Surad narrate, from Jubayr ibn Mut'im, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that the ritual bath for major impurity was mentioned in his presence, and he said: As for me, I pour water over my head three times.
