قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعُ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ صُرَدٍ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ قَالَ تَذَاكَرْنَا الْغُسْلَ مِنْ الْجَنَابَةِ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَمَّا أَنَا فَأُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِي ثَلَاثًا وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ذُكِرَتْ الْجَنَابَةُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ أَمَّا أَنَا فَآخُذُ بِكَفِّي ثَلَاثًا فَأُفِيضُ عَلَى رَأْسِي.

He said: Waki' and Abd al-Rahman told us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, from Sulayman ibn Surad, from Jubayr ibn Mut'im, who said: We discussed the ritual bath for major impurity in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: As for me, I pour water over my head three times. Abd al-Rahman said: Major impurity was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said: As for me, I take water in my hands three times and pour it over my head.
