حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ اللَّيْثِيِّ أَنَّهُ أَهْدَى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ بِالْأَبْوَاءِ أَوْ بِوَدَّانَ حِمَارًا وَحْشِيًّا فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَمَّا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا فِي وَجْهِي قَالَ لَمْ نَرُدَّهُ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا أَنَّا حُرُمٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ مِثْلَهُ يَعْنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ وَقَالَ رَوْحٌ وَجْهِهِ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abdullah narrated to us: Ishaq ibn Mansur narrated to us, he said: 'Abdullah ibn Maslamah informed us, from Malik, from Ibn Shihab, from 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Utbah ibn Mas'ud, from 'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas, from al-Sa'b ibn Jaththamah al-Laythi, that he gave the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, a gift, while he was at al-Abwa' or Wadan, of a wild donkey, and the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, returned it to him. When the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, saw what was on my face, he said: "We did not return it to you except that we are in ihram." 'Abdullah narrated to us: Ishaq narrated to us, he said: Rawh ibn 'Ubadah informed us with the like of it, that is, from Malik, and Rawh said "his face" instead of "my face."
