حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ لُوَيْنٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَقْبَلَ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ بِوَدَّانَ أَهْدَى لَهُ أَعْرَابِيٌّ لَحْمَ صَيْدٍ فَرَدَّهُ وَقَالَ إِنَّا لَا نَأْكُلُ الصَّيْدَ.

'Abdullah narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Sulayman ibn Habib, known as Luwayn, narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Salih ibn Kaysan, from 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abdullah, from Ibn 'Abbas, from al-Sa'b ibn Jaththamah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was traveling until, when he was at Wadan, a bedouin gave him a gift of game meat, and he returned it, saying: "We do not eat game."
