al-Zubayri Muhammad ibn 'Abdullah told us: Isra'il told us, from Simak, who said: 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Amir told me: one who heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, told me - and he had ordered the stoning of a man between Mecca and Medina, and when the man felt the touch of the stones, he ran away and fled. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Why did you not leave him alone?"
