قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ بَكْرِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ الْجُذَامِيِّ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ خَيْوَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سَهْلَةَ السَّائِبِ بْنِ خَلَّادٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَمَّ قَوْمًا فَبَصَقَ فِي الْقِبْلَةِ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَنْظُرُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ فَرَغَ لَا يُصَلِّ لَكُمْ فَأَرَادَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ لَهُمْ فَمَنَعُوهُ وَأَخْبَرُوهُ بِقَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ وَحَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ آذَيْتَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Surayj ibn al-Nu'man told us, he said: Abdullah ibn Wahb told us, from Amr ibn al-Harith, from Bakr ibn Sawadah al-Judhami, from Salih ibn Khaywan, from Abu Sahlah al-Sa'ib ibn Khallad: that a man led a group of people in prayer and spat toward the qiblah while the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was watching. When he finished, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "He shall not lead you in prayer." Later that man wanted to lead them in prayer again, but they stopped him and told him what the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had said. So he mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "Yes" — and I think he also said: "You offended Allah, Mighty and Majestic."
