حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَتَحَرَّى مَوْضِعَ الْمُصْحَفِ وَذَكَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَحَرَّى ذَلِكَ الْمَكَانَ وَكَانَ بَيْنَ الْمِنْبَرِ وَالْقِبْلَةِ مَمَرُّ شَاةٍ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hammad ibn Mas'adah told us, from Yazid, from Salamah: that he used to seek out the exact spot where the Mushaf (place of the Book/his prayer-place) had been, and he mentioned that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek out that very place; and between the pulpit and the qiblah there was a gap wide enough for a sheep to pass through.
